The Wright Technical Center – ISD #966 in Buffalo, MN is seeking a qualified applicant for a 1.0 FTE Automotive Technology Instructor position starting the 2018-19 academic school year. WTC is a cooperative high school specializing in career, technical, and alternative education.

Position Qualifications:  Interested applicants must hold the following:

  • Valid MN 7-12 Transportation Careers teaching license or the willingness to pursue one
  • ASE Certification in the areas taught
  • A minimum of three years of industry or teaching experience
  • Knowledge of current industry practices & NATEF standards
  • Ability to teach a variety of student learners

Salary:  Based on experience & master agreement

Student Grounds & Maintenance Position – Summer 2018
 
The Wright Technical Center – in Buffalo, MN is seeking a part-time student grounds & building maintenance assistant for the Spring of 2018.
Position Summary:

  • Part Time = 25 hours per week
  • Starting = $12.00/hour
  • Hours = Daily 2:30pm – 6:30pm
  • Dates of Employment =  June 11 – August 24, 2018

 

 Position Requirements:

  • At least 16 years of age
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be able to do physical tasks
  • Must be able to lift & move a minimum of 50lbs

 

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain school grounds. Includes – mowing, weeding, edging, trimming bushes and trees, watering, trash removal, and general grounds maintenance.
  • General cleaning of areas within the school building. Includes – sweeping and scrubbing floors, wet mopping, vacuuming carpets, trash removal and furniture moving.
  • Assist custodial staff with additional tasks.
